Rays of Sunshine In An Endless Night

Kind words and actions can go a long way
Especially when I struggle to hang on another day
Life is hitting me pretty hard at the moment
It seems like I'm lacking necessary components
To function properly, with no light to be seen
Except for little rays that still sneak in between
Rays from far away that I've never even met
And I haven't thanked properly yet

Thank you all from the bottom of my heart
You've done more than I could ever repay
I didn't even know where to start
To turn this night into another day
You warmed me up when I was cold
Lifted me when I couldn't fight
Gave me a light that I can hold
Rays of sunshine in an endless night

It feels amazing to know that someone cares
If you ever need an ear to listen I'll be there
I don't have much that I can really give
But I'll do what I can if it can help you live
A little bit happier, like you have done for me
